Pet Safe Policy Packages (PSPP)
- Domestic violence shelters may want to start a pet program to support survivors with pets, but may not know where to begin. Each shelter is unique in terms of their community, clients, resources, space, and so on. In recognition of this need, Warm Hearts developed Pet Safe Policy Packages.
- Each of the four packages contain all the documents to get a pet program off the ground, including intake forms, internal pet policies, agreements with community agencies, and pet resume templates to name a few.
- The documents are all available in Word to facilitate editing for your specific needs, and placement on agency letterhead where needed. The documents in each package have been legally vetted in their current form.
